Welcome to my site!
I am taking on a very large project to establish my backyard (lawn and garden) into raised garden beds. The backyard land measurements are: 25′ wide by 140′ long.
This is my early layout plan (each square is one foot):
My plan for this site is to honor step 6 in Rosie’s code and to share what I have learned from her and will learn from family, friends, trial and error, and of course the abundant knowledge around the Internet.
I plan to take you and me on a journey from flat land to building the raised beds, growing my plants, and to harvesting and preserving my bounty. I hope you will check back every once in a while to see my progress. I will share the costs, the time, the planning, and my mistakes.
